This Supplier Code of Conduct outlines the standards we expect from our suppliers and their supply chains. These expectations reflect best practices and do not override or amend the terms of any supplier agreements with Zipex.

1. Our Expectations

At Zipex, we believe that the integrity of our supply chain is foundational to our mission and reputation. We expect all suppliers, contractors, and their affiliates to adopt business practices that reflect our core values—integrity, innovation, accountability, and sustainability.

Suppliers should implement their own internal codes of conduct aligned with this document and remain in full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Ethical Trading & Integrity

Fair Business Practices

Zipex maintains zero tolerance for corruption, bribery, or unethical conduct in any form. Suppliers must:

Adhere to anti-bribery and anti-corruption legislation in all jurisdictions in which they operate.
Prohibit any form of bribes, kickbacks, or improper inducements.
Maintain transparent relationships with all Zipex representatives.

Gifts & Hospitality

Reasonable gifts or hospitality may be accepted where culturally appropriate and not tied to a business advantage. Such instances must be proportionate and properly documented.

International Compliance

Suppliers must ensure adherence to international trade laws, sanctions, and export/import controls relevant to their products and services.

Conflicts of Interest

Suppliers should avoid situations that create—or appear to create—conflicts of interest with Zipex. Any actual or potential conflict must be disclosed promptly.

Record Keeping

All business dealings should be accurately documented. Suppliers are expected to maintain and secure records to ensure accountability and transparency.

3. Social Responsibility & Labour Standards

Human Rights and Labour

Zipex supports the principles of freedom, dignity, and respect for all. Suppliers must:

Uphold zero tolerance for forced labour, slavery, or human trafficking.
Refrain from employing child labour in any form.
Respect workers’ rights, including fair pay, safe working hours, and the freedom to form or join trade unions.

Equal Opportunity and Non-Discrimination

Suppliers must foster inclusive workplaces, free from harassment or discrimination based on:

Age, gender, race, religion, disability, nationality, sexual orientation, political beliefs, or any legally protected characteristic.

Harassment—verbal, physical, sexual, or psychological—is not tolerated.

Health and Safety

A safe working environment is a non-negotiable standard. Suppliers must:

Comply with applicable health and safety laws.
Proactively eliminate hazards and reduce risks.
Encourage staff to report unsafe conditions without fear of reprisal.
Prohibit the use of drugs or alcohol in the workplace that could impair safety or performance.

4. Product & Service Quality

Zipex expects suppliers to share our commitment to delivering consistently high-quality products and services. Suppliers should:

Operate within a robust Quality Management System (QMS).
Strive for continuous improvement and innovation.
Be open to audits and quality benchmarking where appropriate.

Sustainability and Environment

Zipex is committed to reducing our environmental impact and expects suppliers to support:

Sustainable sourcing and manufacturing practices.
Compliance with environmental regulations.
Reduction in carbon emissions, waste, and water use.
Adoption of climate-conscious operations and products where possible.

5. Environmental & Community Impact

Corporate Responsibility

Zipex takes pride in being a responsible corporate citizen. We expect our suppliers to:

Consider the social and environmental impact of their operations.
Contribute positively to the communities in which they operate.

Confidentiality and Information Security

Suppliers must protect all confidential and proprietary information shared by Zipex. This includes:

Ensuring cybersecurity best practices are followed.
Not using or disclosing information for any unauthorized purpose.
Complying with applicable data privacy and intellectual property laws.
